We are open Monday to Saturday, 9am to 5pm.

As a rough guide: a full groom takes about 90 minutes (about 2 hours for large dogs), a maintenance groom about 1 hour, a wash and blow dry about 45 minutes and a puppy groom about 1 hour. We will message you when your dog is ready to collect.

Most dogs with long or curly coats, such as doodles, poodles and cockapoos, need a full groom every 6 to 8 weeks to stop matting. Short-coated dogs can go longer, but a regular wash and de-shed helps a lot with shedding.

Once your puppy has finished their vaccinations. The earlier we start, the more relaxed they will be about grooming as an adult.

Yes. All dogs must be fully up to date with their vaccinations, and puppies must have completed their full course before their first groom.

Yes. Many of our customers’ dogs are nervous at first. We take our time, give breaks when they are needed and never rush. Let us know about any worries when you book so we can plan around your dog.

We will always check the coat with you first. If the matting is severe, a shorter clip is often kinder than brushing it out, and it may take longer, so the price can be higher. We will talk it through with you before we start.

There is free on-street parking on Baker Street for 1 hour. Morrisons car park is free for 90 minutes and is a short walk away through its back entrance.

Please give us at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or rearrange. Appointments cancelled or rearranged with less than 48 hours’ notice, and missed appointments, are charged a 50% cancellation fee.
