Clipping a wiry coat cuts through the dead hair rather than removing it, so the coat can turn soft, fluffy and faded over time. Hand stripping pulls out only the loose, dead hair. Done properly and regularly, dogs find it comfortable.
Hand stripping costs an extra £25 to £45 on top of a groom, depending on the size of the dog and the state of the coat. Get in touch and we will give you a price for your dog.
