Before we start, we talk through the look you are after, whether that is a short and practical summer cut, a teddy bear face or a breed-standard trim. We check the coat and skin, and we will always tell you honestly if matting means a shorter clip would be kinder.

We never rush. Nervous dogs get breaks when they need them, and older dogs with aches and pains are handled gently and supported throughout.

How long it takes

About 90 minutes (large dogs about 2 hours). This is a rough guide: the exact time depends on your dog’s size and the condition of their coat, and matted or very thick coats can take longer. We will message you as soon as your dog is ready to collect.
